in terms of artistic value; there is 0 in my opinion

my understanding of a NFT is your paying for a hyperlink on the block chain. You don't even own the image itself. What I mean by that is anyone can right click and save the image. if something happens to the eth network then your NFT is gone. its not a physical thing all it is, is a hyperlink on the block chain.

Many people compare NFT's to art by saying this could be the next Picasso. Sorry Karen your picture of an ape that looks like a middle grade schooler drew it I'm sure it will be the next Picasso buddy keep dreaming Karen.

Aside from criminals that launder money using NFT's how are they not just a scam?

maybe you know something I don't. I'll admit I'm no expert lol, I just don't see any value in NFT's
