How exactly do you guys take profits?

i’m stuck here looking at my portfolio and after the last 6-8 months of just seeing red, i see a lot of green. But now that i’ve “made” money , i can’t really just sell it. I know some emotions are taking over at this point but maybe i’m not thinking logically.

for example, if you’ve been DCAing into said asset and it appreciates ; should i just take out the profit and keep everything else running?

Or do I sell everything and hope to buy in at a lower price point to buy more of said asset?

I know there’s no concrete answers but maybe some veterans/traders/geeks have some courses of action or tips they can share.
