How safe are Moons on Reddit?

All Cryptocurrencies

by COINS NEWS 41 Views

With the value of Moons going up, I am curious to know how safely they are being "stored" on Reddit. That is, it seems that Reddit has the full passphrase of our wallets in clear text. Presumably the phrase is encrypted with our own passphrase but this theoretically does not stop Reddit from storing or deciphering the seed phrase. Given that everyone here has impeccable Opsec (right?!), I can't help but think it's a bit risky leaving the coins on a Reddit account.

Any insights into whether I'm missing something here?

EDIT: I'm not necessarily talking about Reddit stealing coins but there being a weak-point in their security. Servers, client-side and API calls are all potential places where a leak/hack can occur.
