I broke my friends marriage with Crypto

About 18 months ago a couple I know asked me about Bitcoin and Crypto at a bbq as they knew I was into it. I told them that if they were genuinely interested I would help them get started, how to join an exchange, how to buy,DCA etc...give them a few tips on cryptos to start with. The wife said she wanted to ask her brother first, an accountant. Of course his advice was predictable...don't touch it, it's a Ponzi, it's a scam, rat poison etc. So she didn't want to go ahead. About a week later the husband came to me and said that he had a little money put aside for his daughter ( they both had adult children from previous marriages) and wanted to proceed. Anyway, I introduced him to the crypto world and he has done well...really well. Four figures was now six. We would chat about the market when we would catch up but asked me to not talk about it in front of his wife, which I thought was a bit weird. Anyway his wife noticed that he was spending a lot more time on the computer and one day saw the balance of one of his wallets and hit the roof, but then asked about her share of the proceeds?!. He explained that the money was not his but his daughters, and by the way, you didn't want us to invest . This started a chain of ill feeling and distrust which culminated in divorce proceedings. The wife is seeking a division of assets which includes the crypto. Moral of the story...there are few I guess. Crypto and sudden wealth can change lives but in sometimes in unexpected ways.
