I realize that this may not apply to everyone, as some have probably overinvested during the tail end of the last bull run, and probably hoped to make quicker profits. I am guilty of this too as I wanted to take profits this summer and pull out before the bear market hit, but obviously it doesn't seem like that will pan out.
However, what I've come to terms with over the last month is that I don't mind a prolonged bear market as long as crypto gets another bull run someday, and doesn't die out. I'm in no rush to get my investments back quickly, so unless crypto goes to zero and those investments are truly lost, I'm prepared to wait for several years if I have to just to make some profits.
This advice is spread pretty often in this subreddit but I really think it is wise: DCA, never invest more than you can lose, never FOMO, and don't panic sell.
