I got my first ever crypto paycheck

I recently started working for a small startup that has nothing to do with blockchain technology. My bosses both invest hugely into crypto and everyone in the company knows about cryptocurrencies to an extent.

A few weeks ago, were were actually talking about making the prize pool for the next company event to be paid in the winner’s favourite coin. I had mentioned that ADA was one of my favourite coins, and my boss jokingly said “How about I pay you in ADA next paycheck”, I was dead serious when I responded back and said that I’d be thrilled about that.

Well, this morning I woke up and my boss asked me for my wallet address, and I basically got paid in ADA for this month. It felt really weird but I’m so f*cking thrilled about it and still can’t believe it. Had to switch some coins over to Fiat to pay my bills for this month, but hopefully one day I’ll be able to pay those in crypto too.
