Firstly I want to say that my experience in this sub has been fantastic. There are many of you out there who have been so helpful to someone who is learning in this crypto universe. I wanted to create this post for those who were like me and wanted to enhance your knowledge in this space. On the other hand some people need to get off their high horse! Nobody is an expert at the beginning, you are not a champion by trying to belittle someone who wants to learn.
I want to give an example of this.
Today I asked about shorts and longs and I simply stated I am curious, what are the best resources to learn about this?
First response "I was curious about drugs once"
Now most of the other responses were helpful along with a warning of their risk. Now I should have explained myself better in the original question stating that I had heard many people commenting on shorts and longs being liquidated and I wanted to know how it affected the market and to enhance my knowledge of the how's and why's.
I have enjoyed my time in this sub so far and want that experience to be felt by anyone new who wants to learn and grow the cryptocurrency space.
I have always said I would rather ask a stupid question than make a stupid mistake. Though a question may seem stupid to you doesn't actually make it stupid, it just means you may have more knowledge in this area than other people.
TL;DR - Some people come to this sub to learn and to get advice from other people in the space. You can be helpful or you can be a dick, but being a dick is not good for this community.
