Don't get me wrong, I'm bullish on Polygon and I'm bullish on Ethereum. Polygon was the only blockchain chosen by this accelerator program and it's huge. This is going to bring a ton of eyes to web3 and is going to be doing a ton towards the goal of mass adoption. Polygon is up by 40% ever since the news hit. This is proof that the blockchain isn't going anywhere when the biggest players are involved.
With that being said, I am wondering about all the ways this will benefit Ethereum. We know for a fact that the Polygon team are ETH maxis. We know for a fact that Polygon would be nothing without Ethereum. I know success for Polygon means success for Ethereum but I am wondering exactly how is this going to happen? Ethereum benefits indirectly but does it benefit directly? They currently have the PoS chain but multiple ZK scaling solutions are coming out, I think this is the main way Ethereum is going to be growing from this.
I'd love for someone to explain how Ethereum will benefit other than from Polygon's ZK solutions. Disney is a powerhouse and this will be doing nothing but good for Ethereum as well as Polygon in my humble opinion. I think this is something everyone needs to be bullish on.
