I'm a small IT service business owner.
I prefer ATOM and will therefor start with a marketing experiment: When my clients get the monthly invoice from my service they will be able to pay in ATOM for 7 days. The ATOM amount is fixed on the invoice. So if the ATOM price drops they could give themself a discount on the invoice. For example if the invoice says 100$ and the current price of ATOM when the invoice was created would be 10 ATOMs, the invoice just says pay 10 ATOMs in a timeframe of 7 days. So when 1 ATOM would drop to 8$ they would get a 20% discount on the invoice. But after 7 days they need to pay normally with fiat. Without a timeframe they would just wait out too long for the best time to get themself the biggest discount. They have therefor a timeframe of 7 days where they can gamble with the invoice. I take the risk but I also think it's just a matter of time when I would get back that loss.
It also could lead to new clients because of this interesting concept where they can get themself a discount. And it will lead to more people investing in ATOM which will give ATOM more value.
From my perspective it could be a win-win-situation and it could make paying the invoice more fun for my clients!
