I’m unbelievably excited for what comes next, two years in.

I’ve been investing in algorand for two years. I remember first getting into it and comparing ADA and Algo. I looked at roadmaps and teams and really it was the MIT that put me into it. I know that schools like MIT are attached to every facet of innovation in business and technology around the world. The team was worth it. The team is some of the brightest among us.

I invested mainly in Algo. After a while I hedged with some ETH, bought some BTC too because BTC will always be king. I got into Lofty on my first bull run because Algo was too pricy. The property helped cushion the blow during the bear this year and I repositioned myself this month very favorably in more Algo.

I got into Alchemon in the last month. The game was out and I wanted to see what Algo truly had to offer in the space. I was very impressed and was able to interview the owner. It just felt like a good experience, young, but good. My only NFT experience (besides governance badge for period 2) but it opened me up to look for more.

I got into AlgoFi. Vaulted all my Algo which was so nerve wracking as this was right after the Axie hack. I took the leap of faith and am so happy I did. I lost probably $300 in a week learning about all the fees, functions, swaps, pools, and lending protocols. I’m currently up past that amount already, and it’s only been a month.

Algorand is the future for me. I genuinely believe this will be one of the “Apple” companies of our version of the .com boom. They have an all star team, use their affordability to transact the king, bitcoin, cheaper and can constantly deliver a more user friendly experience. They take their time on fundamentals without slowing their pace on development. I’m not here to bash any other coin but I know Algorand will be life changing for so many.

Take the time, try some new things, and open yourself to the new world of finance. Even if not on Algorand or Cardano, there are so many thriving defi protocols on so many chains. Please take time to explore but ask lots of questions and be very ready to lose sometimes. Algorand was my gateway into finance, and I hope you find yours this bull run. I think this is the last shake off. The sleeping giant is now waking, good luck to your giants as well.
