Going to go over four examples I was able to find We'll start with the "Stop the FED! Use Bitcoins" sign guy who in 2011 was paid 32 btc to hold a sign in the image below. On top of the 32 btc he was also tipped additional bitcoins from other users of the forum it was posted on. The address - 15Qvts3L2ML538ybH3xP9hKrM282QS6NSL 96.14 btc was sent to that address in total (price of btc at the time was $4.25) Second example is the guy who in 2013 held the "Hi Mom send BTC" sign with a QR Code during a ESPN college game day broadcast. Anybody watching was able to scan the QR Code and send some btc The address - 1HiMoMgBaAikFHgAt3M4YJtetp4HrnsiXu 44.26 btc was sent to this address in total (price of btc at the time was $866.00) Third example is a copy cat of the guy above who held a sign "Send btc for tix" attempting to get enough btc to purchase tickets to a sports ball game The address - 1EmCL1fiiMoQD7ikPknfFCE7edKa1diuhF he was able to get 0.16 btc sent to him (about $46 at the time) The fourth example is the Guy who in 2017 held the "Buy Bitcoin" sign behind Janet Yellen during her appearance before Congress. The address - 1GwtZF9QFKWNqCRHLx1Y9adGcrhQSUnNfY 7.03 btc was sent to this address (Price of btc at the time was $2,180) You probably won't be able to get bitcoin sent to you by simply holding signs anymore but maybe you can try asking for another crypto currency which will hopefully one day 1000X. Good luck [link] [comments] |
