In the last 1,5 years the amount of adults in Turkey holding BTC has increased to 52%. Even as that figure is very overexaggerated, it just shows how people are actually hedging into Crypto instead of just investing.

2022 was not only the year of a historic Crypto bear market, but it also was the year of rampant inflation all over the world, which then was also a bit bullish for Crypto. Especially as in countries of hyperinflation people had to actually take the incentive and allocate their money in safer assets, for many that actually was Crypto.

If the government won't do anything either to decrease the inflation, but just goes on with their corruption, like in Turkey and the adoption of Crypto in Turkey went up just accordingly.

Here we can have a look at a survey (which we have seen a lot of times in the past days, but it actually holds some significance) that shows how: The male-female split for Crypto investors is about 60-40, mostly young adults invest and how the most investors are those with a lower income. Of course that survey is very biased towards Crypto, but still the rise to 52% Crypto ownership in the last few years is quite remarkable.

And especially stats like the low-income families investing more in Crypto, shows how people must actually rather "save" their money by converting it into Crypto rather than investing. Especially in a country where storing your wealth in fiat will cause it to decay in value, Crypto can actually be a safe haven and that is no overexaggeration.
