Is Blockchain changing the system?

Amazing years to live in, we have a decentralized technology that could help us change the way we use money, but will it be able to?

First thing: if we don't need intermediaries to transfer money from point A to point B how are those intermediaries reacting / will react?

Second thing: what will central banks do? Are they embracing Blockchain as we now it nowadays or use it to create a new "product" (digital FIAT?)?

Not to mention older people, my grandparents can't even use a computer or smartphone, how can we expect they'll be able to use digital payments on Blockchain?

A few answers I gave myself:

• Banks are putting limits on crypto, many of them don't accept transfers from exchanges, at the same time they invest into cryptos to make money

• Central banks are exploring the possibility to create a digital stable currency. This process is going to take decades mostly because not everyone is willing/capable to rely only on an digital asset
