Is Polygon still a good solution compared to other L2's?

Like many others I was put off of L1 gas fees, so went over to Polygon, and although some things were tricky to figure out, now that I have the hang of it, I can see that something like Polygon would be the future of Ethereum for end users.

Now I also see many people suggest to use Arbitrum or other L2 options and people often link to https://l2fees.info/

My question is, is Polygon still considered a good option, or is something like Arbitrum better?

Also, is Polygon Hermez related to Polygon?

Thanks!

UPDATE:

I think I answered my own question: It was announced 3 months ago that Hermez merged into Polygon and there's now just Hermez Polygon, as seen here, and since Polygon Hermez is listed on l2fees.info and has the lowest fees, I assume that Polygon is still very much a good solution.

I can do my own homework on how Arbitrum or other L2's are different from Polygon Hermez, but if anyone wants to chip in feel free (-:
