During every new bull season btc eats up the market/alts and btc dominance increases (the amount of money in btc compared to crypto as a whole)

Why is btc eating up the market you ask?

2 reasons -

1 - alts are scared if btc dumps so will alts like they always do. Why buy into an alt when you can likely get a better price by waiting

1. Money moving to btc from new sources and alts as money attempts to catch the green from btc season before reinvesting during alt season

As btc increases it will eventually start to plateau as rate of returns decrease when this happens money will start to move back to alts and alts start to explode with big gains

The whole btc cycle /alt cycle all depends on btc not flash crashing and or holding gains so that alts can pump with confidence. If btc flash crashes alts would likely get demolished.
