Long story short, after a few weeks of waiting I got a response from them stating the following:
“Kindly note that you will need to use a valid withdrawal address.
There are three BTC address types: Legacy (P2PKH): addresses start with a 1. Nested SegWit (P2SH): addresses start with a 3. Native SegWit (bech32): addresses start with bc1.
We support the legacy and P2SH BTC addresses, and you have submitted a native SegWit BTC address. Please cancel this withdrawal as only the account holder may do this and re-submit your BTC withdrawal with a legacy wallet address.
You may need to seek support from the receiving wallet and/or exchange for help with this as we only provide support with wallets on our own exchange.”
So the btc address I sent to started with bc1 (was trying to send to my Wealthsimple account)
And the address the btc is from starts with a 1. Am I screwed here?
