But let's be frank, the majority didn't anticipate the digital coin storm that was on the horizon. Picture yourself back when Ethereum was just a fresh concept. If someone had whispered that this new coin would pave the way for decentralized apps and smart contracts, and by the 2020s would rival Bitcoin in its influence, many would've brushed it off as a daydream or a wild gamble.

That's why the "if you'd just held onto those early ETH tokens" sentiments always give me pause. No one has a window into the future. The thrill of seeing your investment double or even triple in a short time would have been too irresistible for most. Chances are, we'd have celebrated those early wins and cashed out, not waiting for the true revolution that was about to unfold.
