LTC (yes, Litecoin) is up 60% in the past month, out-performing both BTC and ETH in the same period.

Believe it or not, but if you would have invested money into Litecoin one month ago, you would have made more profit than if you had bought Bitcoin or Ethereum one month ago. For reference, BTC has gained by 32% and ETH by 58% in the last one month.

I'm not a LTC fanboy (who is? lol) but I just don't understand why people hate on the coin even when it performs well. In addition, there is LTC’s continued survival over the years compared literally countless other altcoins that have been born, risen, fallen, and disappeared never to be seen again. Nevertheless, LTC has survived and maintains its position in the top 15 cryptocurrencies, currently sitting at #12 in terms of market cap ahead of more popular coins like LINK, MATIC, and XLM to name a few.

Has anyone here made gainz with LTC over the past month? As for me, I’m still trying to climb out of the hole I dug when I bought it at $330… Yup.

EDIT: Obviously I agree that LTC is not the future of crypto and won't make any of us rich in the long term. But it is interesting how well it has performed just in the last month since we pulled out of the summer dip, that's all.

EDIT 2: u/MysteriousPin38 has pointed out that one coin has even outperformed LTC and all the other coins I mentioned in the past month. That coin? ICP. It's up 88% in the past month. Someone somewhere is making money on it!
