I was reading about the Omni-processor which converts human waste into drinking water plus electricity. I learned the best models can generated 250 kw of electricity which is enough to generate .15 bitcoin per day.
It seems to me that this would be a great way to promote Bitcoin mining in the continents of Africa as well as India because both regions have major sanitation problems. The local could get clean water and they would have an incentive to collect poop and feed it to the generator cuz it would generate bitcoin which would provide jobs to the local economy while promoting Bitcoin.
I can't see the downside but I'm wondering why no one is doing this yet? Seems to me that if we can turn our shit into jobs & bitcoin everyone would win.
