Misconceptions about MOONs

I see a lot of people coming in here today who are new to MOONs concept.

This is awesome, our community is growing.

But there are a few misconceptions floating around today.

No, you are not generating money from thin air by upvoting a 1000 comments in half an hour and spreading the moon love.

1. Reddit's algorithm will probably cancel out those upvotes as upvote spam. You might even get your account suspended.

2. No, upvote is not worth 10 cents. There is a total amount of moons that will be distributed in this cycle and the more karma there is the karma to moon ratio will adjust. Meaning, the more we shitpost and upvote those shitposts, the less each upvote is worth.
