Most current crypto dramas in long term won't matter. Who care even about last, 2008 crisis anymore? Almost no one and it was just 15 years ago. Things always look worse now than when we will look back at them in the future.

All Cryptocurrencies

All current problems with SEC, state of economy, crypto adoption in the US, regulations and some failing crypto exchanges or projects seems serious, but reality is in year or three most of us won't remember 90% of all of this. Humans have memory of a goldfish, over years we forgot most our struggles cause lives moves on. Do you remember (without using google) some biggest 2019, 2017 or 2013 dramas, worries and problems in crypto? Maybe at best few of them and I am pretty sure just like today they were tens of them every year. As long as something doesn't hit you personally, and hit you very hard you forgot it easily.

We had Great Depression in 1929, it was biggest crisis in human history, tens millions people lost homes or jobs, many companies went bankrupt, many banks failed. At the time it was real tragedy, so many ruined lives, lost homes stock brokers commiting suicides by jumping out of windows and puting gun in their mouth. Whole 1930's we recovered and in some areas of the world or fields even till 1939 people didn't fully recover from it. Then war come and life become even worse. At the time I am pretty sure Great Depression was most important for many people, but wwII made most of those struggles hilarious, in 1950's or 1960's most of people that survived 1929 forgot about it and they lived in new different reality of cold war. Today something that was most important in 1929 is just few lines in history or economy books. If you say 1929 was almost 100 years ago, then take 1979 oil crisis, Black Monday in 1987, 1990 oil proce shock or 2001 dotcom bubble. Heck, even 2008 financial crisis. Majority of human adult population was alive during those, maybe you remember your worries in 1980's about fuel price or you wanted to buy home in 2008? Does it matter now?

Gary Gensler is just a guy, do you remember name of SEC head before him? Or 30 years ago? Nah, cause it ain't that important in long term. Sure now it is, but over time all of us will move on. I was emotional about Luna collapse year ago or that one chinese company drama... Yeah bailout of Evergrange 1.5 years ago (back then Evergrande was on mouths everyone in this subreddit, today I had to google cause I forgot it's name). That's how crypto works, many exhcanges, banks, people, projects fail, die or get sued. But we all move on and every year forgot most of them untill it totally does not matter anymore. SEC suing some companies, economy being shit or price moving up or down is problem of today. Tomorrow it will be long forogtten memory. So instead of thinking about here and now thing about there and in future. Nothing is ever as bad when we are looking back as we now imagine it is.
