My father talked shit about me for investing in crypto when he literally spends a few hundred dollars a month buying lottery tickets.

Even if crypto goes down in price I at least won't lose it all by the time I buy it, unlike the money my dad puts into lottery tickets which is usually gone by the time he pays for them. I have no clue why the most financially irresponsible people want to win the lottery, they'll just blow away their winnings the same way they already do by just buying tickets.

I really regret talking about my investments with my dad but I hope he just forgets about it right away.
