My mom wants to get into crypto, and I'm not comfortable enough with my experience in crypto to give advice that could negatively affect us later. What advice do you guys have other than DYOR?

So my mom told me she wants to get into crypto. The original reason for this is that a supplier of hers wanted her to send funds in USDT instead of fiat(actual money). I've given her my best advice, but since I am less than 3 months into this whole crypto thing, so I am not the best person to be giving advice. Can any of you please spare your time and give us some advice? She's at least competent in the usage of basic technology like computers since she uses them in her day-to-day, and I am more so. what advice can you give us other than DYOR? She uses Binance by the way, but I use a variety of exchanges and wallets, like coinbase and metamask.
