It’s so easy to avoid all the good stuff here, and just believe the next piece of sensationalist bad advice.
This community had become my favourite time pass. I had been FOMO buying/selling (very little amounts, but still!) over those months a lot more. Then, due to work pressure I couldn’t check this community for a few weeks and boom no FOMO trading.
Market dipped shortly after that and I saved myself shit loads of losses.
Why would anyone with a good tip share it with 3.3 million people? The rare good ones, just don’t sound convincing enough.
It’s a catch 22. You want a good tip from a sure-shot sounding source, but only sensational shit sounds that sure of itself.
Maybe deducing this problem the other way around might help. Just filter away all the big claims.
Such as predictions, celebrity adoption, quack gurus, etc.
What do you think? Does it happen to you too?
