Older friend lost access to wallet

Hello everyone, I'm posting on behalf of an older friend who isn't very tech-savvy and is in a bit of a tough situation.

A while back, she purchased Bitcoin through a website called how2crypto.com. They set up an Atomic Wallet account for her but didn't provide the 12-word backup phrase or any login credentials. At the time, she didn't fully understand the importance of having direct access to the seed phrase and private keys.

Recently, she found out that how2crypto.com is no longer operational. She can see her cryptocurrency holdings through Koinly, which shows that her assets are stored in an Atomic Wallet account. However, without the 12-word backup phrase or access credentials, she's unable to access her funds or manage the wallet.

Here's what I’ve done so far: Contacted Atomic Wallet Support: They confirmed that without the seed phrase, they can't help recover the wallet since they don't store private keys (which is standard for non-custodial wallets). Tried Reaching Out to How2Crypto: Unfortunately, their website is down, and they are known scammers. Searched for Any Credentials: We've gone through all her emails, documents, and notes but haven't found any login details or backup phrases. Reported the Incident: She's contacted local authorities to report the situation as a potential scam, but they haven’t been helpful I'm wondering if there's any possible way to help her regain access to her funds? Has anyone dealt with a similar situation where a third party set up a wallet without providing access credentials? Are there any recovery options or steps we might have missed? Is it worth seeking professional assistance from a blockchain recovery expert, or is that risky?

I feel terrible for her, and I want to do whatever I can to help. Any advice or insights the community might have would be greatly appreciated. Even if it's just to confirm that there's nothing more we can do, it would help to know for sure.
