People saying that Crypto has “no use-case“, just did not have the need for that yet. While the people in Turkey, Argentine and Venezuela did.

We have all probably seen many many posts here discussing what the use-cases for Bitcoin or other Crypto actually are, often it was said that all of Crypto basically has no utility as you can do pretty much everything that Crypto does also with fiat or digital transactions that are just as fast. For me those people seem to either complete buttcoiners or they did not actually thoroughly ponder about this matter.

If you would say to some turkish or argentine or even some person in Venezuela that person would be laughing at you as they definitely know what the importance of government-independent, fast, cheap and transparent money with preferably a finite supply like Bitcoin is.

In those countries were you have inflation to a point where your decent monthly salary struggles to buy you lunch everyday because of the rapid devaluation, they know why they need some hard money like Bitcoin. We have also heard the stories ourselves on this sub about people using services like LocalBitcoin to help themselves in countries like Venezuela.

So the next time you see someone saying that Crypto has no use-case, just show them those countries where people even have to struggle t buy their daily lunch with their fiat currency. Just because many people are privileged enough to not have this issues they think that their life is the status quo. It is not.
