Politicians don't want crypto because transparency means we could track exactly where our taxes actually go

This is just a thought, I'm not saying I'm right at all.

But politicians presumably aren't (or won't be) eager on adopting crypto because all transactions can be tracked. If we pay taxes in crypto, we can see precisely where it goes. And the government (referring to American) obviously isn't extremely obvious nor do they wants to be.

Seeing where our taxes go precisely will be liberating and will likely lessen corruption.
