Potentially the oldest NFT on Ethereum has been rediscovered and it's a Domain Name Registrar.

Linagee Name Registrar has been rediscovered and is now challenging Etheria as the oldest NFT on Ethereum. The contract was recently discovered by Mason Keresty, who has now created a minting app for it. Since its discovery, Linagee Name Registrar is already in the top 5 most used smart contracts on Ethereum since yesterday. 200K names have already been registered in the past 48 hrs. breaking the ENS record.

| The contract is a domain name registrar (similar to ENS) that was deployed on August 8th, 2015. It appears that only 60 domain names were initially minted on the contract back in 2015.

| The creator of this domain name registrar contract is the infamous and anonymous Ethereum developer, Linagee, who also deployed the very first smart contract on Ethereum, as well as TestCoin.

Interestingly the user u/linagee had also posted on r/ethereum 7 years back where he talked about Domain registration.
