Quantum Computing and the Blockchain

So I have a very surface level understanding of the blockchain and cryptos enough knowledge that I’ve been investing in them and believe that this technology will change the future. But, I also have learned a little about Quantum computers and how powerful they are but are still in their infancy… so I wonder if quantum computers pose a threat to the block chain or if quantum computers and the block chain will both be adopted to make for a better future… thoughts and ideas?
