Question about claiming a questionable coin(Orbeon)

Hello. Question about claiming a coins I’ve read may be scammy. I bought $1000 of Orbeon (ORBN) but have read some questionable things about it. I bought it via my Coinbase wallet which contains my other coins as well. It launched and I’d like to claim the coins but I’ve read “scammers can drain your wallet” etc. I’d prefer not to have it happen of course. Is there a safe way to get the coins? It doesn’t seem to support MetaMask which is my other wallet that’s basically empty at this time. What, if any, is a safe way to get those coins? Relative newbie asking so thanks in advance.
