River financial is rubbish

Hearing decent things about River and the promise of fee free reccuring buys enticed me. I like to DCA all my investments so the idea that I could set up weekly deposits and set it and forget it was awesome.

2 days after my first deposit I got an email saying they closed my account. No explanation.

Called all day. No response.

Finally got ahold of someone just now. They told me they closed my account, absolutely no explanation. Told me their decision was final and permanent and to have a good day.

Totally unprofessional. Take my deposit, it clears, then cancel my account. Offer absolutely no explaination. Feels like a scam.

I have stellar finances, no debt, don't use leverage, have A 798 credit score, have multiple brokerage and exchanges. Never had this issue.

Mad they offered Absolutely no explaination and gave no indication as to when my initial deposit would be refunded.

Avoid river. If it feels scammy it always ends up being scammy. I won't be surprised when they go the way of ftx, blockfi, etc.

Seriously disappointed.

Downvote me all you want. But avoid them. I should have recorded the call to post.
