Serious post. Don't get into business with your freinds. You will most likely kill that freindship irreparably.

Lost a very good freind of over 15 years ???? because of a sour business arrangement. I have never been a money or business oriented person, in fact just the opposite. I'm the laid back stoner type. I got into crypto last year and had my freind (good with math) help me with some things I could easily done with a calculator but was good to have a sounding board for my investments at the same time. This person eventually decided I owed them over half my bag for there involvement even though every penny was mine. This started because I started giving them pity money and started calling it a 'salary' as a joke. This person was in between work and I was trying to help them out because they had just had a baby. When I decided to cash out a significant portion of my bag they decided my freindship wasn't worth what I supposedly owed them and I had to block them and move on with my life. This was extremely painful for me and I guess I'm writing this as therapy in a way and not just a cautionary tale. Anyway I hope you consider this if your thinking about having a freind help you in any official capacity. It's probably not worth losing the freindship over.
