SHIB has ruined any faith I had in the market

I started investing in crypto at the beginning of the year in February. I spent a lot of time trying to learn what I was doing. I started with BTC and ETH and DCA'ed them weekly. I eventually diversified and DCA'ed some alts (ADA and ERG).

Crypto used to give me so much hope, a smile would come on face just thinking about it because of what it represents to me: my ticket to freedom and truely being able to live a good, just, fun life. All of that has gone out the window. I've spent countless hours reading about crypro and researching it and for what? You have people jumping on the SHIB bandwagon whose portfolios are better than mine. It's a pill I can't swallow.

I just feel like I've wasted a lot of effort and time. I'm very depressed now, I feel like I'm going to be broke forever and stuck in the prison of a deadend 9 to 5. Crypro was my hope and dreams for a better life and SHIB took that from me. GME, DOGE, SHIB...I missed them all and I hate myself for it.
