Hi all, having a discussion with a friend and wanted to post it here for thoughts. We are comparing crypto investments and he's pointed out to me that typically, the best crypto projects that offer the most gains over time are smart contract platforms. Looking at the top 10 cryptos by market cap I can see that they are indeed nearly all composed of smart contract platforms (Ethereum, Solana, polkadot, etc). This would lead me to believe that if there were two hypothetical coins, and they both launched at the same time, and one of them was a single company while the other was a smart contract platform, the smart contract platform would have a better chance of gaining more over the next few years. What are your thoughts on this? Cheers
