So I send my little brother a Ledger Nano S for his birthday, and after he sets it up, I send him his first Bitcoin. Woo hoo, successful orange pill, right? Well...until he then asks me "Ok, now what do I do with it, send it back?"

I'm sorry but what do you expect to happen, from just giving them a Ledger Nano S and sending them some Bitcoin?

Unfortunately giving somebody a wallet and some Bitcoin does not really as a "successful orange pill". If you give your brother something without ensuring he understands it first, well the fault lies with you if he doesn't fully know what to do with it I'm afraid.

Or at least when planning this, you should have fully anticipated his response and so be cool to explain it... instead of just expecting everyone to inherently understand Bitcoin.

Sorry to break it to you folks, but Bitcoin still isn't mainstream and most people still see it as magic-internet-money-that-will-hopefully-make-you-rich.
