So long, and thanks for all the fish.

So this is it, my dudes! After about 5 years in crypto, I'm leaving the space with a sense of calmness and accomplishment :)

Crypto was amazing for me in these past years:

• I started providing translation services for crypto ICOs in exchange for their tokens, got a University Certificate in Blockchain Development which helped me found a startup, and later landed an incredible IT job
• I've developed a liking for finance and investments which opened a whole new world of money empowerment for me
• I learned about patience, planning, loss, consistency, and commitment by fire. The crypto space is not for the faint of heart!
• I've been scammed, made it all back, made bad decisions (hello Luna!), lost some more, and learned about risk management in practice
• After 5 years of investing and soft-trading specifically in crypto, I feel at an optimal stage financially to take different steps in my life and plan for my future (an accomplishment in itself for someone from a third-world country).

After such a long bear market I realized that I had my eyes completely locked on crypto and potentially losing better opportunities in other spaces. I don't know when or if the next bull run will come, but I'm satisfied with my own bull run: 5 years to finally feel I'm financially stable.

Set your own goals, make smart decisions to achieve them, ignore the outside noise... but don't get married to an idea forever. If you feel like this bear market is too much for you, it's ok to take your loss and go somewhere else: we humans are resilient and creative.

Thank you to this space for all these years of a sense of community, information, brotherhood, and learning. I leave it with a light heart and wish the best of luck to the ones who stay. Long live crypto!
