Hey guys, so me and a friend are running a startup selling high quality, Swiss-made luxury watches. We're still in the pre-sale phase and we're wondering if we should use NFTs or not and if we could accept crypto as payment.
NFT Certificates
Just like you have with brands like Rolex, with every purchase you'd get a certificate that shows the product its legitimacy. Now we're wondering: should we distribute these certificates as NFTs?
IF NO:
Why do you think it's a bad idea?
IF YES:
What would be the best chain to use? I suppose ETH has too high gas fees so maybe Polygon?
Accepting crypto payments
We'd also like to include the crypto community by accepting crypto as payment. Are there ways to (easily) accept crypto payments without using 3rd parties like MoonPay etc? I guess we could just put QR codes of our wallet but that seems a bit cumbersome administration-wise.
Disclaimer: I know NFTs get a lot of hate, and especially in a crypto winter, but every little bit of adoption helps in my opinion.
