The program has been running since 2019 and currently has hundreds of community members translating Ethereum.org contents to over 50 languages with the aim of making the Ethereum website accessible to everyone, regardless of their nationality and language.
Participation is voluntary and anyone can contribute as much as they wish, no prior translation experience is necessary. The contributions are not financially compensated, however you can assist with the development and growth of the Ethereum community. Once some of your suggested translations are approved and implemented, you can also claim a POAP as proof that you participated in the development of the Ethereum.org website.
How you can contribute:
- Visit Ethereum.org Translations on Crowdin and sign up.
- Find your language and click on the flag.
- Open the first non-completed file (less than 100% progress) by clicking on its name.
- Start working on the untranslated strings, marked in red. Translating is as easy as typing in the "Enter translation here" field and clicking Save.
For the full program overview and additional information, you can visit the Ethereum Translation Program page or join the Ethereum.org Discord in case you have any questions about the translation process.
If youβre not bilingual but would like to contribute to the Ethereum community, hereβs other ways to get involved.
