The infrastructure bill contains a provision that could effectively outlaw miners, stakers, and cryptocurrency software developers in the US, imposing reporting requirements that they can't possibly meet.
A new amendment has been proposed by Senators Wyden, Toomey, and Lummis that would specifically exclude those groups from reporting requirements.
