To be fair, credit card do things ya orange coin wish it could too. When you buy something online and it never gets delivered to you, it's trivial to initiate a credit-card chargeback. By contrast, if you'd paid in bitcoin, you'll never see that money again.
I'm not shilling for credit cards, only pointing out that it's not so cut and dry which payment method is superior in all cases. Fairly often I'd prefer to pay with a credit card because I know I can claw my money back if the other party cheats me.
Eventually we will have credit cards denominated in bitcoin rather than fiat, and then we will have the benefits of both technologies: the consumer protections of credit cards and the limited supply of bitcoin.
