The Memecoin Supercycle - Murad Mahmudov @TOKEN2049

I found this talk very fun & interesting. "Autistically brilliant" is a description of it I saw on twitter. Please note that this is a prediction which the speaker is making which I'm just sharing. Some points for which I think the video should be watched:- 1. Blatantly states that all crypto are basically "Speculation first-Tech second". Basically none of the tech they present are the real deal, but the token themselves. Goes on to state how retail doesnt actually care about all the layer 2 solutions, proofs of this & that...but about making a quick buck. 2. This is where memcoins come in. Without the tech jargon, they just present a catchy token and look to build on an organically forming community. The token itself is the asset and nothing else. 3. How most tokens go through many insider allocations before the actual ICO and can be seen in token distribution. Memecoins are flushed mostly into the retail circulation. The speaker does kinda diss on the VC types and all on this. 4. Memecoin supercycle is gonna be the major thing of next year(2025) and will collectively perform better than the "use-case" tokens. 5. Memecoins have the added advantage of a cult-like behaviour amongst its holders like a movie fan group/sports team ultras. Even the non-memcoin tokens try to ape this kinda thing in their marketing, cus that actually has value.

There are many more interesting & debatable points the dude makes in the video. I was most surprised to see some actual dissing on the tech behind crypto, that too at a crypto event and let's be real....they kinda are true.
