I've seen a lot of people concerned about using the wrong address and losing their crypto when transferring and transacting when this is (almost) impossible.
All bitcoin wallets, clients and exchanges check if an address is valid first and Bitcoin addresses are encoded in Base58 using PubKeyHash with a version value and a checksum which is the leftmost 32 bits of a double hash of the PubKeyHash in your address.
The checksum is 32 bits so the probability of entering an incorrect address that will still decode to an incorrect but valid PubKeyHash is roughly 1 in 4.3 billion. On average, 4,294,967,295 out of 4,294,967,296 times a user error (typo) will produce an address that is both incorrect and invalid. So when it's decoded the PubKeyHash will not produce the proper checksum, the error will be detected by the client/wallet, and the transaction simply will not happen.
So don't be so scared of moving your coins, to mess up you're essentially trying to guess the correct hash of someone elses valid wallet address BY MISTAKE, the chances of which are close to winning the lottery 10 times- almost zero.
I don't know the math for other coins so some care is still advised but most of the top coins use a similar system and coins like XRP even offer an additional deposit address which functions like a bank account number. There IS still a real chance of being tricked into copy pasting the wrong address if you've been hijacked by a malicious user using client side software, for example, but you're almost certainly never going to accidentally send your BTC into the abyss through user error alone.
