The objective is to guarantee the authenticity of the documents and official acts they are authorized to issue. To accomplish this, the Paris Court of Appeal has partnered with the crypto firm Unikbase.

The core expertise of this company lies in "identifying, authenticating, and unlocking the power of ownership for the world's most valuable objects." They will now apply this expertise to the Commissioners of Justice at the Paris Court of Appeal.

The main focus will be on creating digital twins for the official documentation of these public officers. This will be carried out through a private blockchain network called Legide.

Legide itself is hosted on Hyperledger Fabric, an open-source blockchain platform aimed at developing interoperable blockchain technologies. Thus, it is thanks to Hyperledger Fabric that digital twins are created.

In practice, the process involves marking physical objects, such as documents, with invisible ink. This serves as a reference for an equivalent marking on previously created NFTs.

This procedure offers a twofold advantage. First, it certifies the authenticity of the documents. Additionally, it provides a means to trace their history at each stage of the transfer, offering the "legally conclusive evidentiary proof" required for their validity.
