Today I just buy btc but I started with a memecoin and that's how many people enter the crypto world.

If you tell a layman about tps or l1 and l2 how zk rollups and optimistic rollups differ, the interconnection between blockchains, it's just gonna scare them away.

It's just easier to look at memecoin and be like , ahh funny named coin that makes money , let's see what's in it.

Then you register on a cex or dex,setup your accounts,learn to use gas fees , basically delve into the crypto world, it's basically the first taste of crypto for many, atleast it was for me.

Yeah, Probably people are gonna lose some money because I did and most may leave but some will stay, look around, look for better things and probably help crypto grow.

Granted, That in a perfect world banano could have been doing that job but it's not a perfect world and till then these memecoins are a necessary evil.
