[Unpopular opinion] Blindly following the advice of those with proven track records (e.g. Guy from Coin Bureau) is superior to any "DYOR" that the average investor is capable of.

Like, honestly, what are you researching that analysts like Guy haven't already done, and done better?

The likes of Benjamin Cowen, Guy, and JRNY dedicate their lives to researching this space. What makes you think your conclusions will be any more informed than theirs? I've somewhat blindly followed their picks and have profited wildly from it. Frankly, were it not for them, I doubt my portfolio's performance would have been nearly as strong.

And, I don't mean to toot my own horn, but this is coming from someone who was recruited by one of his country's top law firms before even graduating from his country's top business and law school. The best thing about being as smart as I am is knowing that I am a dumb ass, and to defer my opinions on matters outside my expertise to those who are experts.

Edit: I wasn't aware people are so insecure around here. The purpose behind my noting my achievements is, as u/The_3_eyed_savage so eloquently put it, to point out that "I'm not the dumbest mother fucker on Earth". And yet, despite being involved in high finance at a professional level, I still defer my judgments to those experts mentioned.
