Hi again. Thought i would post an update to my to last post (https://www.reddit.com/r/binance/comments/odieaj/account_has_been_hacked/) as people didnt believe me or were intrigued to how it went.

Ive spent my whole day talking with Binance support, to be told that they cannot help me, and to contact law enforcement. This is what they told me -

You may check in your history the specific Send number.

To approve a transfer with the "Send" function, a 2FA confirmation is required:

If you have not enabled any security verification, you will be guided to enable it; If you have already enabled any security verification, you may click Get code and enter all the required codes. For account safety reasons, the SMS verification code and email verification code will be valid only for 30 mins.

If this action was not performed by you, it is highly likely that your email and/or device has been compromised, thus causing the unauthorized withdrawal of your account.

Please make sure to secure your devices and accounts. Here are some recommendations:

Change the password for your devices and accounts and ensure 2-step verification is enabled. -Check your email account for any rules, filters, or forwarding addresses enabled/added. -Check your email account settings and see if there are any authorized devices you do not recognize. -Clean trojan & viruses. It may be required to format the disk/reinstall OS under an extreme risk situation. We suggest that you seek help from an information security expert if you deem it appropriate. -Change your account password periodically, and verify API, and address whitelist setting for withdrawal. -Update your Google Authenticator or SMS Authenticator -Disable plug-in/extensions for your browser and uninstall unknown software on your computer -Consider seeking help from an information security expert to determine how to achieve the highest possible level of security;

Moving forward, based on the given information, we have successfully located the suspect’s account with us, but we regret to inform you that the funds have been withdrawn out of Binance.

Unfortunately, the blockchain is anonymous. This means that:

1- It is not possible to identify the owner of the destination address. 2- It is not possible to recover stolen funds, because transactions on the blockchain cannot be reversed.

If you would like to pursue this case, according to our standard procedures, we require to collaborate with your local authorities.

Binance maintains a stance of cooperation with law enforcement authorities globally, should you wish to pursue an official investigation we encourage that you report this incident to the police.

A. The photo, name, mailbox, and telephone contact of the investigating officer. B. It is necessary to issue an official document of assistance with an official seal; C. The letter should specify what information Binance needs to provide to cooperate with the investigation (such as providing account information corresponding to the xxx address, real name information, phone number, etc.)

Please note that a police investigation is out of Customer Support's reach, so any relevant information in regards to your case you will need to get directly from the officer in charge of your case.

I truly understand your frustration and anxiety, however, kindly be informed that the transaction was made from the same IP address that you were using to contact us directly. If this is not from your own operation, this may be due to someone has an access to your account/devices. If you wish to pursue with the investigation, please file a report to your local authorities and kindly have them contact us directly by creating a ticket.

those are both of the IP Addresses used to try and log in

neither of them match my own

Kindly disregard the previous messages, Please be informed that the 1273.8430718 USDT transfer was made on 2021-07-04 at 11:59:41(UTC+8). The transaction was made from an authorized device/IP. If this is not from your own operation, this means your account/devices is compromised.

Next step will be to contact police i guess. Devastated by this i have to say!! Is anyone from the UK on here and have any further advice for me? I have no idea how the hell the hacker was able to get in passed my 2FA, my google chrome is saying my passwords have been compromised, again not sure how. Pretty depressing Sunday overall guys I hope everybodys day hasnt sucked as much as mine!!
