Warning about influx of crappy AI software

I work at a major IT company and there is a huge trend and buzz in using ai...

AI itself isn't that bad. If you know what your doing it can be a very powerful code generator, but the problem is any non tech minded person can hack together something. "Cool" an equal playing field you may think to yourself, but the reality is far from cool.

We are going to get a huge influx of shipped tech created by ai by product managers and sales people, and these people are very good at spinning their half baked, hair brained prompts theve managed to cobble together using chat gpt.

We are approaching a point where the sales people can bypass the tech people and get together working products. They will get funding for these things, and I will not be surprised if we see an influx of defi and crypto projects created via chat gpt prompts, but since the people that generated them are snake oil salesmen, these projects are as brittle as porcelain.

If there is no GitHub, it probably is shit. If there is a small commit history it is probably shit. If it's some pm or sales person with no team, it's probably shit.
