I made a wire transfer request of $356.60 the other day. It showed a $356.60 amount and then a $15.00 fee for the transfer, which would mean I would get $341.60 to my bank account. Today the $341.60 appeared, followed immediately by a $15.00 wire transfer fee. So I got a total of $30 in fees when I was told it would be $15...? It's not a lot of money but that is misleading. Unless there's an amazing coincidence that my bank itself charged a fee on the receiving end that happened to be for the same amount. I don't wire money often so IDK how this works. Does anyone have experience with this happening? Thanks
