We Should Use NFTs To Radicalize Normies For Free Speech/Privacy

FATF guidance notes that NFTs are generally not virtual assets, but can be if used for payment/investment purposes (substance over form). Combined with a prohibition on self-regulatory bodies, FATF is setting central regulators up for failure. It would be an administrative nightmare for regulators to wade through discord servers, Twitter feeds, and telegram groups for thousands of NFT projects to discern whether any are VAs (and whether intermediaries/dev teams are VASPs). In other words, the FATF guidance as proposed for NFTs is unworkable. Regulators don't have the resources to consider FATFs standards on a "case-by-case" basis as applied to NFTs. First off it is very very difficult to explain the political science behind Fatf and the push to ban DeFi, or for that matter the push in general by western governments to attack speech, privacy, and access to financial tools. Really hard. Vast majority of people don't understand the laws. Nor do they understand that the two party system in america is trying to force middlemen on crypto, ban defi, block poor people out of crypto, ban and regulate to death access to NFT.

So, to allow a tech that enables the possibility to get rid of the middleman and make sure services are correctly market priced, they propose to forbid it anytime it doesn't... include a middleman.

Well, at least, we precisely know what they want, now. They've proven it: they want the middleman having its market-disrupted cut and all the inefficiencies coming with it.

Let's be frank, this is very accurately what prevents all products, worldwide, to be affordable for everyone. It's what allows corporations to wreck others. It's organized racket making sure people stay poor across the world. They're essentially killing people, here, and making sure any solution that would prevent it is literally forbidden.

Well, if the US officially wants that, I guess others will refuse to sacrifice so many people to their hubris. Not everyone is a wannabe narcissistic murderer.
