What is the hype about with ton? I’m trying to learn more about it but am confused why it doesn’t follow trends well .

I have been holding TON for a few months now and I don’t understand why it has been kinda performing not well (sideways/ not doing much ) and what I don’t understand the most is when other coins start performing well (uptrends) ton doesn’t and I’m confused why it doesn’t follow trends . I’m new so please no hate im just trying to learn . I very well could be wrong but still would like to learn what the hype is about and if it’s worth holding , also I don’t have any crypto bros around me . Hopefully this has 500 characters because I don’t know what else to say about this . It’s supposed to be a simple post but I had to stretch it and overexplain in order to be able to post.
